Job Description: 

Legacy Church Huntington is in its early stages as a church plant. It is located at 20th street and 7th avenue, adjacent to Marshall University. We are looking for a person who is motivated to create an engaging worship environment on Sunday mornings and any other special service that is associated with the church body. This same person is one who is talented and Spirit-filled and whose desire will be to become a part of our church family here at LCH.

Qualifications:

• A clear testimony of one who has been “born again” as a follower of Jesus. 
• Experience in planning, preparing, and leading praise and worship. 
• Agrees with the beliefs and doctrines of LCH. 
• Has the ability to read music and is proficient in interpreting chord charts. 
• Can play and lead from an instrument (keyboard/guitar). 
• One who has a quality singing voice and the ability to coach parts. 
• One with an engaging stage presence. 
• One with the knowledge of video and sound systems and worship presentation software. 
• One who is organized, punctual, and leads by example. 

• Lead praise and worship weekly. 
• Recruit and develop worship team members and musicians. 
• Be available for leading, planning, and participation in special events. 
• Work closely with and follow the direction of the Lead Pastor. 
• Be a team member with good relational skills and a positive attitude. 
• Direct a weekly rehearsal with the praise and worship band that prepares for a quality worship on Sunday. 
• One who chooses the music, seeking input from the band members on song choices

The position is part-time and compensation is based on experience.
