• JACOB KIRKENDOLL, THE TUESDAY TABLE LEADER

    Jacob and his wife, Eden, are recent graduates of Marshall University with bachelor's degrees in engineering and finance, respectively.  They both work full-time but are also committed to making time for every ministry opportunity, serving in many capacities.Jacob serves as a Deacon and the leader of The Tuesday Table.  He enjoys all things related to sports (football is a favorite). Eden is a Deaconess, serves as the barista for Cafe Legacy and is an avid cook and baker, being an entrepreneur of such.


  • Sydnie carpenter, Tech Manager

    Sydnie serves as a Deaconess and in many other areas at LCH.  She has an Associate's Degree in Child Development from Ohio University Southern and a Bachelor's Degree as a K-12 Intervention Specialist from Shawnee State University. She is currently employed as an Intervention Specialist at Lawrence County DD.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially her niece and three nephews.  She also enjoys traveling anywhere, anytime.

  • ISAAC MCKOWN, PRAISE & WORSHIP LEADER

    Isaac serves as a the Worship Leader at LCH and, also, serves as a Deacon. He and his wife, Kimberly, are first and foremost parents of beautiful Claire.  Isaac is a graduate of Marshall University and is currently a biological science teacher at a local high school. Kimberly graduated from Shawnee State University and is employed as a pediatric dental hygienist.  She serves as a Deaconess at Legacy. They both enjoy spending time with friends and family and chasing after little Claire.


  • joe dorsey, LEAD pastor

    Joe was raised at First Baptist Church of Kenova and has served in various roles there over the years. When FBC Kenova desired to plant a church in the Huntington Area, he felt called to be involved.  He and his wife, Nancy, enjoy their ten grandchildren immensely, love the beach and have been known to go camping from time to time.
